Baby Kyle is a good example of why I don’t turn down newborns that are not 7-10 days old. Now, I do prefer them 7-10 days old because they are a little easier to get the poses that I prefer BUT it isn’t impossible to work with older babies.
Kyle came to see me at almost 4 weeks old. Mom, Dad and big sis did a great job getting him ready for his session.

Zoey came to see me for her six month portraits. This is the start of my favorite age(s) to photograph. We get real laughs and larger than life smiles (especially for Zoey). She is such a happy girl!!

I have photographed many people but it isn’t often that I get to photograph a newborn that belongs to a dear friend. This little guys mommas was one of my first friends after I moved to Carlisle. Being in a new place with no family or friends is very hard and I am so thankful that I found her. I was honored that she wanted me to take these precious images of her baby boy, Jay Brant. You see he has 3 sisters so this family was due for a boy.
This image was/is a composite. Thanks to Becca’s entourage I had a plenty of assitants throughout the session.
Are you expecting? If so contact me now (before you have the baby) to schedule a newborn session. Newborns are best photographed between 7-10 days old.

Each year Hannah has me photograph John for his birthday. I think he is finally comfortable around me. There was very little being shy and lots of talking BUT that could also be because my kids were there. We did this session back in February, we had crazy warm weather that day, which I am thankful for!
John LOVES trains so what better location than the depot? Too bad a train came by after we already left.
