Julia & Fred came to the studio last week for a maternity session, one of the items they wanted to incorporate into their session is one of the ultrasound images. I am so impressed at the quality of these images! I remember with my daughter I could hardly tell what things were. Here you can see his profile, very cool!

One of my favorite things to do during a newborn session is pull out my macro lens and grab a few images of the little things. Their hair, lashes, fingers, toes and nose. These little things will never be this size again. Oh how I wish I had images like these of my kids.
Meet Bella, she is my newest baby planner. This is one of my favorite macro images, I plan to print it big for the studio.
I was getting ready to put my camera down then saw this little bubble.
This image of her hair might be my favorite, right after the one above. I love when newborns have a head full of hair!
If you are expecting I suggest contacting me while you are still pregnant. I prefer to photograph newborns between 7-10 days in order to get the nice sleepy poses that I love.

This is one of my adorable baby planners. She came to see me last week for her six month pictures. I always look forward to the outfits and accessories that her mom brings, they are always the cutest!!! I always have a hard time picking my favorite images from sessions, for this one I am pretty sure this one is my fave. I think she looks like a doll!

Today my girl turns 8. I cannot believe she is 8, before I know it she will be 16 and wanting a car. Ekk!!
Thanks to Bluegrass Greetings for Chloe’s yard card. She was so very excited to see it outside of Bourbon Central this morning!! She loved the leopard print letters, the ballerina and the purse!! We will be some pictures of Chloe with the yard card after school.

A new year, a new project. Last year I started My World/Your World with Jolie Starrett Photography. Turns out we were not very good at making each other accountable. I also did Macro Monday, which I loved but towards the end I was struggling for new things to photograph with my macro lens. I have tried a 365 at least once, maybe twice, but I didn’t get very far. So, a new year a new project. I am going to give 366 a try. So far I am off to a great start. For those of you that don’t know what 366 is, you take one photo a day , every day. Since I am doing this on my own I am allowing myself to take more then one image a day but of course, only one is necessary.
I’m not going to bombard you with a post every day of my image, instead I will post a few days within one post. Sometimes I will have a story to tell with the photos, sometimes the image will tell the story.
Today I am sharing Day 1-4 of 366.
Mollie doesn’t like it when I work in the kitchen. She likes to come in and take over my chair.
Day 2
Usually Jason takes the kids to school in the morning but on day 2 I got to ride along.
This was the first snow of 2012, this is my favorite time of year!
Jason had a day or two “off” so he was nice enough to help me repaint the studio. I don’t think he is ever really “off”.

Mimi bought Hunter an alarm clock for Christmas. He loves it! However I don’t know if it is actually waking him up! You can see he was very hesitant to get out of bed this morning.
